Itโ€™s been more than a few years since I was 12. Itโ€™s been more than a few years since I was 12. One thing that hasnโ€™t changed in those years is the simple joy I get from setting up a tent and sleeping under the stars. Uncomplicated action to help thrive in an often complicated world. A walk, not an app. Stepping away, not digging in. More being, less doing.
She climbed this peak many decades ago and wanted She climbed this peak many decades ago and wanted to see it from the air. So we did last weekend. The Matterhorn in all her glory and an amazing woman who smiled the whole flight and joked after landing that she dropped a handkerchief and wanted us to fly back for it. Days like this light me up like nothing else. Wonderful people, mountains, flying โค๏ธ
I guarantee you that both of us felt like 10-year- I guarantee you that both of us felt like 10-year-olds on this flight! My awesome passenger last week has 40 years of life experience on me. My youngest passenger ever was 40 years younger. Both flights left me beaming for days. What a joy to share aviation across an 80-year age range and to see the same smiles and sense of awe at any age!
